She's into cottagecore and moody vintage florals so I took a chance on this for her birthday. She immediately hung it in her sitting room and sent me photos within the hour. The size options made it easy to pick something that would actually fit her wall space.
You can actually make out the fine lines of the William Morris pattern up close, it's not just a rough approximation of the design. Bought the largest size and it works well draped over the back of my sofa. Feels like a piece I'll have for years, not a seasonal decor item.
The cotton weave is thicker than I expected, which is great for structure but means it doesn't drape as softly as some throws when used as a blanket. Works beautifully as a wall hanging though, which is mostly what I use it for now. Color is accurate to the photos in my case.
Followed the care instructions exactly, cold water, gentle cycle, no bleach, low heat dry, and it's come out looking the same as day one after four washes. A lot of decorative throws aren't actually meant to be washed regularly but this one seems built for real use.
I use mine purely as a wall hanging behind my reading chair and it photographs beautifully for my book content. The pattern has enough going on that it doesn't look like a plain sheet on the wall, but it's not so busy that it competes with other decor.
No issues with the tapestry itself once it arrived, the weight and print quality are both solid. It just took closer to three weeks total rather than the shipping estimate on the site, which was a bit frustrating since I ordered it for a specific date. Would still order again, just plan ahead.
I've had cheap cotton throws pill within a month of regular use. This one has held up through weekly use on the couch without any pilling yet. The indigo blue is rich and hasn't faded even after a few washes.
Living in a studio, I don't have a ton of wall space to work with, so I wanted one piece that would do a lot of visual work. Hung this above my bed and it instantly made the room feel more curated. Ordered the 37x52 since I didn't need anything oversized for the wall.
Photos online made it look more like a flat print but in person you can really see and feel the woven texture. Makes it look more expensive than it was. Washed it once already and it came out of the dryer just as soft as before.
Got this for our bedroom and my wife immediately wanted it hung rather than used as a blanket. Command strips held it up fine, no sagging after a few weeks. The pattern has enough detail up close that it doesn't look flat or generic from a distance.
I ordered the 50x60 thinking it would drape over my full sized bed but it only really covers about two thirds. Still using it as an accent throw at the foot of the bed and it looks great there. Quality of the weave itself is very nice, no loose threads on mine.
Been slowly redecorating my apartment with more moody, vintage inspired pieces and this fit right in. Draped it over the back of my reading chair and it looks like something out of an old library. Fabric feels substantial, not see through or cheap.
I was worried a woven cotton throw would feel scratchy but this is soft right out of the packaging. Big enough to actually curl up under on the couch, not one of those decorative-only throws that barely covers your knees. The indigo and cream pattern goes with almost everything in my living room.
Pattern and color are exactly as expected, no complaints there. After the second wash the edge started fraying a little more than I'd like, even on gentle cycle with cold water like the care instructions say. I trimmed the loose threads and it's fine now but wanted to mention it.
Bought one for myself first and liked it so much I bought a second as a gift for a friend moving into her first apartment. She uses hers as a wall hanging in her living room and says it makes the whole space feel more finished. Ordered the 62x84 for myself so I could actually use mine as a real blanket.
You can feel the difference in quality compared to imported throws I've bought in the past. The William Morris print translates really well into a woven texture instead of just being printed flat onto cheap cotton. Hung mine as a tapestry over my reading nook and it's become the focal point of the room.
The listing does mention the color may vary a bit from the mockup and mine came in a touch more muted than the deep indigo shown online. Still lovely, just wanted to note it for anyone picky about exact shade matching. The weave quality itself is excellent and it washed fine on gentle cycle.
This has real weight to it, not a thin decorative throw. You can tell it's actually woven and not just printed on flimsy fabric. Ordered the 54x72 and it covers me fully on the couch during movie nights.
I couldn't decide if I wanted this as a throw or a wall hanging so I've been rotating it. During the day it's draped over my armchair, at night I hang it up with command strips behind my bed. The indigo is deep and rich, not flat looking like some jacquard throws I've seen online.
It's even more amazing in person.
This is a lovely woven throw, exactly what I was looking for!
Beautiful item, arrived quickly! Rich colors, nice construction.
