A poetry print that rewards the reading of the poem not just the looking at the image

The vintage floral butterfly illustration is lovely on its own terms. But the combination with the Blue Butterfly Day poem is what makes it worth keeping on the wall. I find myself rereading it occasionally when I walk past. It's a short poem and it fits naturally into the kind of morning pause that the vintage imagery already invites.

The blues in this print are softer and more beautiful than the listing photos conveyed

I've noticed with matte archival prints that the colors often look richer in person than on screen and this was no exception. The blue of the butterfly and the blue tones throughout the vintage floral illustration are softer and more nuanced in person. On the wall with natural light they have a quality that photographs don't fully capture.

I didn't know this Frost poem before and now I think about it every morning

I saw the listing and ordered it primarily for the butterfly imagery. Reading the poem when the print arrived was the bonus. It's a short poem but it has a quality of noticing that I find myself returning to. The vintage floral style frames it without overwhelming it. The 230 gsm archival matte on the 12x18 is clean and the blues are soft and true.

For a Frost enthusiast this feels like a discovery rather than a gift shop print

My father has read Robert Frost since college and owns most of the well-known poem prints you can find. Blue Butterfly Day was a poem he'd taught himself years ago but never had as a print. The vintage floral treatment is the right aesthetic for his study and the 230 gsm archival matte arrived flat and made an immediate impression on him.

The vintage treatment makes Blue Butterfly Day feel like something discovered in an old book

That's the specific quality this print achieves and it's the right one for a Frost poem about the small, quiet signs of seasonal change. The butterfly and floral elements are illustrated in a style that feels appropriately aged and the 230 gsm archival matte paper supports that quality. One of the better poetry prints I've seen.

Pretty print but took longer to arrive than estimated for a birthday gift

The Blue Butterfly Day print is genuinely attractive. The vintage butterfly and floral imagery are delicate and the poem text is set with care. My frustration was that it arrived five days after the birthday I was gifting it for. The recipient was thrilled once it arrived but the timing was disappointing. Worth building in more lead time than you think you need.

The vintage style is exactly right for this poem's mood

Blue Butterfly Day has a lightness and a sense of early spring promise that the vintage floral art treatment captures well. The soft blue butterfly and the floral botanical elements give the poem a visual home that feels considered rather than generic. The 12x18 matte is one of my favorite pieces currently on my walls.

This is the piece I send people to when they ask for gift recommendations for literary friends

I've gifted this three times now to people who love poetry and vintage botanical art and it has landed well every time. The Blue Butterfly Day poem is specific enough to feel like a discovery for most recipients and the vintage floral print quality is high enough that it feels like a considered gift. The archival matte paper is something you feel immediately when the print arrives.

Lovely piece with a small white border note for framing the 12x18

The vintage floral print and the butterfly imagery are soft and well reproduced on the archival matte paper. When I framed the 12x18 I found the white border around the image area slightly larger than I anticipated. I had to adjust the mat I'd planned. Not a problem once sorted but something to account for before you source your frame and mat together.

Beautiful print with the poem text slightly smaller than I hoped at 11x14

The vintage floral imagery and the butterfly are rendered with a softness that suits the Frost poem well. At 11x14 the poem text is readable but requires you to step closer. Not a dealbreaker since it's the image that draws you in first and the text rewards being near it. The 230 gsm matte paper is excellent. Would go 12x18 next time just for the text legibility.

My sunroom needed something light and this is exactly it

I have a sunroom I use for reading and morning coffee and the space called for something airy and springlike. The Blue Butterfly Day print in the 20x30 on archival matte is the right scale for the room and the vintage floral palette works in the light that room gets throughout the day. The matte finish doesn't create any glare even with the windows.

Spring arrived early in my reading room the day this went up

I put the 12x18 in a natural oak frame and hung it in the corner where I read in the mornings. The vintage floral style and the soft blues of the butterfly imagery make the whole corner feel like a different season. The poem text is set cleanly and reads well at normal viewing distance. Really pleased with this one.

Bought this alongside the Road Not Taken print and the two make a lovely Frost collection

I'm slowly building a Robert Frost wall in my library. The Blue Butterfly Day and the Road Not Taken prints together are a good start. The vintage floral treatment is consistent between both and the palettes are different enough to be distinct without clashing. The 230 gsm archival matte quality is the same across both orders.

Good quality but the poem text is very small at the 8x10 size

The vintage floral print and the butterfly imagery are lovely and the photo paper quality is fine. At 8x10 the Frost poem text becomes quite small and is more of a supporting element than something you can actually read from across the room. If the poem is the reason you're buying this I'd recommend going to 12x18 or larger on the matte paper. The print is still pretty at 8x10 just limited as a poetry print.

My grandmother received this and recognized the poem immediately

She studied literature in the fifties and has a soft spot for Frost's lesser-known work. She recognized Blue Butterfly Day the moment she unrolled it and said it was exactly what she'd want on her wall. The vintage style suits both the poem and her aesthetic. The 11x14 in a natural oak frame was the right scale for her small reading room.

Gave this as a get-well gift and she said it brightened the whole room immediately

My friend loves both Robert Frost and botanical art. The Blue Butterfly Day poem isn't as well known as his others which made it feel like a more personal discovery. She had it in a frame within the hour of delivery and said it made the room feel lighter. The print arrived flat and in perfect condition.

Really good quality but I'd suggest the 12x18 as the minimum for a poetry print

The 230 gsm archival matte paper is excellent and the vintage floral illustration is well composed. I went with the 11x14 and the poetry text is readable but I had to be closer to the wall than I would have liked. For a print where the poem is part of the point the 12x18 would give the text the room it deserves. Print quality itself is not the issue.

Solid print with a note on finding frames for the 11x17 size

The vintage floral illustration and the butterfly imagery are well reproduced on the 230 gsm archival matte. The poem text is legible at this size which was my main concern. I had some difficulty finding a standard ready-made frame for the 11x17 proportion and ended up ordering online. The print quality justifies the extra step.

A lesser-known Frost poem deserves this kind of treatment

Most people only know The Road Not Taken from Robert Frost. Blue Butterfly Day is a poem I've loved for years and finding it as a vintage floral art print was a genuine surprise. The combination of the poem text with the blue butterfly and floral imagery is light and joyful in a way that suits the poem perfectly. The 230 gsm archival matte paper gives the blues a real softness.

This poem is about the first blue butterflies of spring and you feel that in the print

There's a specific seasonal feeling to Blue Butterfly Day, that particular quality of early spring where things are just starting to turn. The vintage floral illustration captures that mood perfectly. The soft blues and the botanical elements give the poem a visual season. The 12x18 in a white oak frame looks lovely in my bedroom.
