Hopscotch: A Journey Between Story and Spirit
For over 30 years, I’ve been shaping the world of Hopscotch — a story woven from demon bargains, cursed legacies, and a girl’s search for her missing father. What began as daydreams when I was sixteen has grown into a living, breathing universe of magic, mystery, and the unseen threads that tie us together.
Now, after decades of carrying this story with me, I’m finally bringing it to life in a way that you can hold in your hands. This upcoming campaign combines two creations that reflect different sides of Hopscotch:
The Graphic Novel — A 124-page story following Martha as she navigates astral projection, homemade slime portals, and the heavy costs of making deals with demons. It’s the first part of a larger saga, illustrated and adapted directly from the novel I wrote in 2023.
The Tarot Deck — A full 78-card deck inspired by the Rider–Waite tradition, but reimagined with new names and meanings that reflect the spirit of Hopscotch. Within the story, Martha turns to her deck at pivotal moments. Now you’ll be able to do the same, using The Traveler’s Tarot: Keys Between Worlds in your own readings and practices.
This campaign is more than just a project—it’s a bridge between mediums, between art and spirit, between the story that has lived in me for decades and the ways it can connect with you.
